This my first otterbox case, I keep looking at all of the otterbox cases but they was bulky or I did not like the colors they came in. I picked the commuter case from Otterbox, I like that it is an otterbox case plus it was smaller. I got the blue one and I love it.

I don't usually write reviews but I thought it might help out you ladies. My husband has the heavy duty one I think they call it the Defender. Anyway it was way to heavy and bulky to put in my pocket so I decided on this one. I got the Blue and its a nice shade of blue. It protects my phone but it is not too bulky or heavy and slides nicely in an out of my pocket. Its also easy to take the case on and off. Hope this helps you decide on a case.

I really like this case: it does a good job of protecting my iPhone without adding
a lot of bulk to the phone (which was a problem with the Otterbox Defender case); it
slides easily in and out of your pocket; love the dust covers that go over the ports;
and it accomodates my charge/synch cable. Would recommend.

The Ottorbox "Commuter" is an excellent product for the protection of your iPhone 3G/3GS. Very easily installed and still provides outstanding protection even for the slim case profile. The price I paid through Amazon.com was only 60% of what I would have paid from AT&T or Apple stores for the identical product. The only comment I have would be I wish they would have included a belt clip similar in style and function to the Ottorbox "Defender" series of protective cases. Fortunately, the slim style of the "Commuter" still fits my current holster so this was not a deal breaker for me.
