Basic 3G Phone with Quad Band....cool July 13, 2010

Placed the order for this phone on July 2nd and received it on July 12. I was excited about the reviews, and the fact that it is a portable quad-band unlocked 3G cell phone, so I ordered it. The phone is really thin for a bar phone, but comfortable at the same time for anyone with large hands. It will fit in your side pants pocket with ease. It reminds me of a smaller version of the Samsung Blackjack II, but with less features. The size of this cell phone is 4.5H x 1.98W x 0.35D. Get the picture? I am still learning about this phone gradually. This phone does come with a micro SD slot for expanded memory. The maximum memory recommended is 2 gigabytes. I learned the hard way by purchasing a high capacity 4 gigabytes microSD memory card, and was getting error messages that the memory card has an unrecognized format. I called the manufacturer of the phone, the manufacturer of the memory card and the company whom I bought the phone from. After debating with all three about the error message, I was informed that this basic phone is not compatible with a high capacity memory card that is more than 2 gigabytes. So instead of a 4 gigabyte microSD card, just purchase a standart 2 gigabytes microSD card and you are good to go. One last thing, purchase the microSd card with the adapter to add audio files, etc from your PC, because unlike the aforementioned Samsung Blackjack II, this phone does not come with a data cable. Must be purchased separately. This is a good basic phone, especially for international travelers, so go ahead and buy it. Okay!!
