Amazon.com Product Description Need to trim down? The Motorola L6i is the answer. This stylish, quad-band world phone has more than just great looks, with features like Bluetooth, mobile email, a speakerphone, voice dialing, a camera, and more. Offering a nearly identical feature set to the Motorola SLVR L6, the L6i includes an integrated FM radio. Now you can have a skinny phone that's big on the features that make your life easier. This unlocked cell phone can be used with a GSM network service provider and it provides quad-band connectivity (850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz). It does not come with a SIM card, and it requires that you provide a SIM card for usage with your selected service provider. Nicely thin, the SLVR L6i measures just 0.41 inches thin (11.5mm). | Design At less than a half-inch thick, the L6i features a large 128 x 160-pixel color display with 65,000 colors that resides above the handset's backlit control pad. Most of the phone's menus and features are controlled by a circular control pad just above the numeric keypad. Up/down buttons are placed on the left side, and there's also a highly accessible mini-USB port on the right side of the phone for data synchronization. The VGA camera unit is placed on the back of the phone. Calling Features The L6i's internal phone book can hold up to 500 contacts. The phone also supports polyphonic ringtones as well as MP3-based ringers, allowing you to use portions of your favorite songs to alert you to incoming calls. It's compatible with polyphonic ringtones, and there's a vibrating alert for times when you want to be discreet. Picture and ringer ID functions let you assign photos or ringtones to incoming callers, while a voice dialing feature lets you call your contacts by speaking to the phone. Plus, a built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear. Because the L6i is Bluetooth enabled, wireless headsets can be configured with the phone for total hands-free operation. Messaging, Internet, and Tools The L6i is a messaging and wireless Internet powerhouse. Support is built in for sending and receiving pictures, text, graphics, and sound via messages. Instant messaging is supported via AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, and ICQ, and the phone also ships with a built-in email client. Plus, there's a wireless Web browser for mobile web browsing. iTap text entry, which is a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit-- a plus for mobile email and text messaging users. A number of handy software tools are bundled with the L6i, including a calculator, a calendar, and an alarm clock. Use the phone's Bluetooth capability to set up a wireless link with a Bluetooth accessory or connect to a computer or hand-held device to exchange and synchronize data. Imaging and Entertainment The L6i's built-in camera is ready to take 640 x 480 pictures whenever you need to--so you're always ready to capture life's unexpected moments. You can even capture 15-second videos with the camera. The phone also supports custom graphics for wallpapers so you can dress it up to suit your mood. Vital Statistics The Motorola L6i weighs 2.82 ounces and measures 4.33 x 1.93 x 0.41 inches (113.5mm x 49mm x 11.5mm). Its lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 5.8 hours of digital talk time, and up to 380 hours of digital standby time. It runs on the 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS frequencies.

It's ok October 14, 2008 Jose L. Rodriguez This isn't the best phone in the world but it will do. It has a lot of problems with reception; I have a contract with ATT and broke my phone, this phone was a replacement for the old one. The problem, however, is that this phone does not get reception where my old phone used to. Plus the reception fades in and out.
Chinese phone July 5, 2008 Newengdesi (Providence, Rhode Island) The keyboard, and the default language is chinese. After spending a long time, I was able to find out how to change the language to English. But still it would store "names" in the address book in Chinese language only. They should have warned the customers about this issue. Will try to return the phone !
CHinese phone!!! June 30, 2008 Georgy Toloraya 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The phone I received turned out to be a China Mobile one with all connections to Chnese provider and Chinese-type keyboard layout! I feel I should have been warned it is the model for CHinese market!
Excellent buy for the money June 22, 2008 Scott Edwards 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this phone to replace my T-Mobile flip phone. I inserted the sim and powered it up, just like I had read in all the reviews it powered up in chinese, took me 3 different areas to totally remove the chinese and have it read all english. Phone has excellent reception, 10mb internal storage and a FM radio to boot. I live in Texas and have had ZERO issues with the phone, it works just like the american edition. The phone is slim enough to fit in a shirt pocket, very sleek and easy to use.
a few things before buying this phone ... May 15, 2008 Antonio Zamora Rodriguez (Costa Rica) 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
the first thing you need to know is that this phone is completely made it to be used in china. The phone offer some options that are made it just to be used with a "china phone service" (to name it in some way) Once you find where you can change the language to english, you will see that the phone works great, it does what it need to do, camera, bluetooth, radio, 10Mb of capacity, and is a good looking phone. In my country (Costa Rica), the phone worked perfectly ... i could make calls, send messages and do everything your SIM card allow you to do it doesnt come with earphones ... just the phone and the charger ... and a lots of chinese manuals and one manual in english Dont expect a cheap camera ... expect a super bad camera ... so you got it, this is the phone you are looking if you want a cheap one .. i just hope you could find where to change to language faster than me

Motorola RIZR Z3 Unboxing

I just bought an unlocked Motorola RIZR Z3 for my wife for her birthday and I really thought that the box it came in was neat. Hence, I thought I'd do an unboxing video with my digital camera to show exactly what it looks like (along with the accessories that came with it), as I've never seen a box like this before.
